After spending over two weeks in London, the United Kingdom, President Muhammadu Buhari arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Thursday evening.
On March 30, the presidential spokesperson had said the President travelled to London for a “routine medical check-up.”
However, President Buhari’s “short rest” at the Abuja House in London has been marred with the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon protest organized by the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
A counter-protest or solidarity protest was soon organized in support of the President in what could be described as absurd drama.
The Nigerian President has been criticized for his medical trips abroad despite the annual huge amount allocated to the Aso Rock clinic.
