AOD National Leadership On A Visit To Oyo Housing Corporation.

~ Promises To Utilize Personal Experience, As A Stakeholder, To Make Okeogun great.

The Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barr Bayo Lawal, has reassured Okeogun youth that he will always put in his best towards the development of the Okeogun region and Oyo State at large.

The Chairman made this known during a visit by the Apex Sociopolitical group, Alliance For Okeogun Development, AOD National Executive to Oyo State Housing Corporation in order to discuss some challenges militating against the development of the region and ways out of those challenges on Wednesday March 10, 2021.

The Kishi-Okeogun man reassured people from his region, Okeogun and Oyo State indigens in general that he will always utilize his long term experience as a stakeholder in the operation of the community development to make adequate recommendations on how to promote unity that would ensure development and progress.

He however urged Okeogun youth, to remain focus on her aims and objectives of a well develop Okeogun region and Oyo State.

In his remarks, leader of the forum, Engr. Fasasi Abiodun, who led other members of the group on a courtesy visit highlights challenges confronted by inhabitants of the region to include poor education, poor road network, inadequate enlightment all occasion by low quality of education.

Barr Bayo Lawal, further highlighted the achievement and commitment of present administration of Oyo State led by HE Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde with many projects sited to Okeogun region of the state. he concluded that the development of every Region remain Governor Seyi Makinde’s focus.

Barr Bayo also reassured AOD members that they have his support and his door open for them any time any day, he commended their efforts to make Okeogun great and encourage them to keep the good work by always prioritise the wellbeing and development of their communities.

In his contribution, the director of Research & Training, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Alhaji Taiwo Ibrahim with his colleague, Director of Works, Engr. Saliu Lukman encourage them, AOD to be more committed to their struggle and never relent no matter the situation, that the forum will achieve their aims and objectives sooner than expected.

Madam Funke Nee Adesola, the CEO, Remax Hope Home, also advise the group to Continue sensitization of the younger ones in their choice of careers most importantly those ones that are looking for admissions into higher institutions of learning as this will reduce unemployment and make them to have little or no reliance in government jobs. She said “employers will not employ those who will not add value to their business”, she concluded.

Otunba Fasasi in his closing remarks, appreciate the Chairman and other directors in the meeting for making the meeting interactive, productive and successful, he prays for unity and Development of Okeogun region and Oyo State at large.
